I am a plant systematist who wishes to bridge the fields of conservation, genetics, and ecology to understand the forces driving diversification in island systems. Determining species boundaries, which environmental or molecular factors influence speciation, and how different reproductive methods have evolved are central questions in the work I want to pursue.
