Christine earned a BA and BS in Biology from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX, and an MS degree from the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She later pursued doctoral studies in a PhD program at Louisiana State University before relocating to Seattle to work at the University of Washington. She has taught a wide range of courses at Texas A&M University, Louisiana State University, and the University of Washington, including Aquaculture, Biology of Fishes, Ichthyology, Natural History of Invertebrates, Disease Management in Fisheries and Aquaculture, Vertebrate Physiology, Introductory Biology, Survey of Physiology and Elementary Physiology Laboratory. She is currently a Course Coordinator for the Biology Introductory Series (BIOL 180/200/220) at the University of Washington.
